Most who visit Cafe Roka don't know that there is a third floor. Sometimes used for private parties, the room is always home to the one and only Starlight Lounge, a cabaret setting that harkens back to a day when intimate shows were the standard.

The Starlight lounge has become a must with people wanting to see big city talent in a small town atmosphere. There is limited seating: only 100 tickets are sold for each event. The Starlight lounge attracts world-renowned talent hoping to find a space that allows them to connect with the audience. The unique space, with twenty foot ceilings lined with original tin, allows the audience to drift back to a time when Bisbee was a roaring mining camp, with opera houses and small cabaret clubs.

The first act to use the Starlight lounge was Calexico, who stayed for a week and recorded what would become their album, Carried To Dust. Since then such musicians as Howe Gelb, John Doe, and Tom Russell have all played in the room, and each one has described the intimate experience as a one of kind musical evening, something rarely seen by musicians and audiences alike.

Shows are usually lined up two to three weeks in advance, so please check the site for updates regarding upcoming shows.
